Rare Earth Concentrate Study Reveals Need for Higher Grade Extraction.
The study looked at rare earth concentrate samples from different deposits in Sichuan Province, China. They found that the levels of rare earth elements and other useful elements varied between deposits and processing methods. The highest rare earth element content was in samples from the Bing deposit, while the lowest was from the Jia deposit. The mineral dressing process led to the loss of some elements like Tb and Yb. Rare earth elements were enriched in the concentrate samples, along with elements like Mo and Ga. This suggests the need to increase the rare earth element grade in the concentrate and reclaim higher concentration elements.
