Water-soil conservation measures in Luergou Watershed reduced runoff and soil erosion sediment yield. The study analyzed data from 1982 to 2004, showing that runoff and sediment yield decreased with conservation efforts and vegetation growth. Precipitation patterns and vegetation growth influenced the distribution of runoff and sediment yield. The measures led to significant reductions in sediment and runoff, benefiting small watersheds and supporting sustainable land-water resource management.
