Controlled-release fertilizers boost soil health and reduce environmental pollution.
The study looked at how different types of fertilizers affect soil microorganisms, soil health, and soybean growth. They tested four types of fertilizers and found that controlled-release fertilizers increased the number of beneficial soil microorganisms and improved soil fertility. These fertilizers also reduced environmental pollution compared to traditional fertilizers. However, they did not significantly improve soybean growth or yield. Controlled-release fertilizers are better for the soil and the environment.
