The study looked at how four underwater plants can help clean up polluted water by removing nitrogen and phosphorus. They found that all four plants did a good job at cleaning the water, with Ceratophyllum demersum being the most effective. This plant could be a good choice for cleaning up polluted waters in Northeast China.
