The article discusses how microgrid technology can combine the benefits of distributed energy sources to create a large-scale renewable energy system connected to the grid. It explains the basic structure of microgrids, different types of energy resources, and storage methods. The article also presents three control strategies for microgrids and suggests areas for future research in this field.
