The goal of the trial was to improve deteriorated pasture without plowing it. By using herbicide+oversowing and 24h grazing+oversowing, the researchers found that they could increase pasture density and production while reducing costs by over 50%. This method also improved pasture competition, making it easier for the grass to grow and thrive.
