Revolutionizing Pulp Production: Stronger, Greener, and More Efficient Pulp
The study found that using modified kraft pulping on plantation eucalyptus wood results in pulp with lower Kappa numbers and higher viscosity compared to conventional kraft pulping. This method also produces pulp with better strength, higher yield, and fewer rejects. However, it requires a higher H_factor value to achieve the same Kappa number due to slower reaction rates.
