The study looked at the diversity of plant species in forests at Baiyunshan Scenic Spot. They used different indexes to measure diversity in different types of forest communities. The diversity was similar to other natural forests in the area but had fewer species. Forests with less human interference had higher diversity. The young plants in these forests showed potential for natural regrowth.
