Artificial recharge projects were designed and simulated in the groundwater reservoir in Daqing to improve urban water supply security. By injecting water into specific wells and reducing groundwater pumping, the groundwater level in the center of the reservoir increased by about 11 meters. This method effectively replenished the groundwater and helped alleviate the water resource shortage in the area.
