Optimal fertilizer application boosts millet yield by over 50%!
The study looked at how different amounts of N, P, and K fertilizers affect millet yield. They found that using the right amount of N fertilizer is crucial for increasing millet yield, with too little or too much N leading to lower yields. Combining N, P, and K fertilizers together boosts millet yield, with the best results seen when applied in the order NPK. Applying too much of any of these fertilizers can actually decrease millet yield. Based on their findings, the recommended amounts of N, P2O5, and K2O for optimal millet yield are 121.61, 78.09, and 24.23 kg/ha respectively, with a suitable ratio of N:P2O5:K2O being 1:0.64:0.20.
