The sediment source of Yanchang Formation in Fuxian area of Ordos Basin was studied using various data sources. By analyzing key parameters like paleocurrent directions, sand distribution, and heavy mineral characteristics, it was found that the sediments in the area originated from the northeast of the basin, ruling out a source from the south.
