Study reveals agricultural finance failing farmers and GDP growth
The study looked at how well public money spent on agriculture actually helps farmers and the agricultural economy. By analyzing data on agricultural spending, farm income, and agricultural production, the researchers found that the money spent on agriculture doesn't always have the impact it should. This is because the total amount of money spent is small, the way it's spent isn't ideal, and the management of the funds isn't great. To make agricultural spending more effective, we need to increase the amount of money spent steadily, improve how the money is used, and have better management practices in place.
