The study looked at sediment in Hailing Bay, Western Guangdong, and found that sediment gathers in the north and south due to different factors like freshwater and tidal currents. Sediment in the middle is well-sorted and moves from north to south. The distribution of sediment and grain size match the environment of the bay.
