The amount of livestock manure has fluctuated over the years, with a significant increase in recent times. The pollution threat from livestock manure has also increased, with higher levels of COD, BOD, NH3-N, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus being discharged into water bodies. This poses a risk to the environment and calls for sustainable practices in the livestock industry to control pollution.
