Household businesses drive income growth for Chinese farmers, study finds.
Farmers in China have different sources of income, with household businesses being the biggest contributor to income growth. Other sources include wage income, property income, and transfer income. The study found that the fluctuation of farmers' income doesn't have a significant impact on their total income. However, fluctuations in income from household businesses, property, and transfers are influenced by changes in farmers' total income. This suggests that the economic system in place may be limiting farmers' income growth.
