The sewage wetland treatment system at Dagang oil field was optimized to improve efficiency and reduce costs. By combining water surface and infiltration wetland systems, the design increased hydraulic load capacity and saved on investment. The research showed that this approach leads to steady treatment efficiency, benefiting the long-term operation of the treatment project.
