The behavior of 10 mm toughened glass in fires was studied in a room setting. Eight full-scale fire tests were conducted with different oil pan fires. The study looked at heat release rate, temperature, and glass breakage. The results show how the glass surface temperature affects when the glass cracks. This information can help design better fire prevention strategies for toughened glass.
