Climate change extends growing season for Nitratia plant in sandy areas.
The study looked at how the timing of Nitratia plant growth in Minqin changed over 17 years. They found that the start and end of Nitratia's growth shifted later, but the overall growing season got longer by about 5.8 days. Different years showed big differences in Nitratia's growth stages, with budding, leaf color change, and leaf fall changing the most. Rainfall didn't affect Nitratia's growth much, but sunlight and evaporation did.
