Compost maturity was studied using different materials and microbes to speed up the process. Rice husk has high carbon and silicon content, making it hard to decompose. The carbon nitrogen ratio doesn't show if compost is mature, but WSC/or-N and GI can. Mixing pig or chicken manure with rice husk and adding 0.5% microbes can make compost mature in 14-21 days. Phosphate content increases during composting.
