Realgar Spares Male Rat Sperm, Offering Hope for Fertility Treatments
The researchers studied the effects of realgar on male rat sperm quality. They gave male rats different doses of realgar for 6 weeks and then analyzed their sperm. The results showed that realgar did not significantly affect sperm quality, unlike another substance tested. Realgar did not cause harmful changes in the testes or epididymides of the rats. Overall, realgar was found to have no significant toxicity on male rat sperm.
