The study analyzed precipitation patterns in Liaoning Province from 1966 to 2010. They found that overall, annual precipitation slightly decreased over the 45-year period, but the change was not significant. Different areas in Liaoning showed varying trends in precipitation levels, with some becoming more arid and others less humid. Spring and winter saw increasing precipitation trends, while summer and autumn experienced decreasing trends. Precipitation levels also varied from west to east in the province, with higher values in the eastern part.
