New technology reduces harmful impurities in sulphuric acid plant emissions.
The article describes how a sulphuric acid plant successfully cleared harmful impurities from sintering flue gas using a specific process. The gas had high levels of SO2, dust, and other pollutants. The plant used a series of scrubbers, towers, and electrostatic precipitators to clean the gas. After more than a year of operation, the plant achieved a clearing recovery of 99.01% and low levels of dust and other pollutants in the gas.
