The study looked at how the length of a room used to measure methane pressure and the amount of methane released in a sealing hole affect the accuracy of pressure measurements in coal. By using equations for gases and methane adsorption, the researchers found that longer measurement rooms and larger methane releases led to bigger errors in pressure measurements. To improve accuracy, it's best to shorten the measurement room and reduce the amount of methane released in the sealing hole.
