Corn Stalk Conversion Breakthrough Promises Sustainable Biofuel Revolution
Researchers optimized the process of turning corn stalks into sugar using enzymes. By testing different temperatures, times, and enzyme amounts, they found the best conditions. The result was a 42.15% yield of sugar when the temperature was 51.15 ℃, the time was 42.08 hours, and the enzyme amount was 28.75 U/g.
