The article discusses advances in non-parametrical geostatistics, a method used in evaluating mineral resources and other fields. To make geostatistical modeling less subjective, non-parametrical geostatistics has gained popularity. The researchers present four variogram models for non-parametrical geostatistics and introduce the concept of multiple-point geostatistics, which can visually represent geological phenomena using a training image instead of variogram.
