Parents' Education Levels Impact Children's Human Capital in Urban China
The study looked at how education, work sector, experience, and family background affect human capital in Chinese urban areas. Results showed that education has a high return rate in cities, with no diminishing effect. Human capital return is higher in eastern regions than central and western ones. Labor migration can boost human capital return. Work sector doesn't impact human capital much, but family background, especially parents' education, strongly influences children's human capital.
