Urban Planning Conflict: Wuxi City Development Imbalanced, Hindering Future Growth.
The article discusses how urban and land use planning in Wuxi City are facing conflicts due to rapid urbanization. By using regional potential development, the researchers found that building-land in urban planning is growing too fast in sensitive ecological areas and too slow in feasible development areas. The general land use planning does not meet future development needs and limits actual land use expansion. This study shows that regionalization can help alleviate conflicts and improve coordination between different planning schemes.
