Consumer trust in bank information practices influenced by privacy concerns.
The study looked at what makes Chinese consumers trust banks with their information. They found that if consumers believe in the bank and trust their privacy practices, they are more likely to trust the bank. However, if consumers are generally worried about privacy, they are less likely to trust the bank. Interestingly, general privacy concerns don't affect how much consumers trust the privacy practices specifically. This means that overall privacy worries directly impact how much consumers trust banks with their information.
