The study looked at how using bio-organic fertilizer on different types of soil affected soil quality, cotton growth, and yield over three years. They found that applying the fertilizer increased soil organic matter and labile organic matter, as well as cotton nutrient absorption and yields. The increase in labile organic matter was higher than in overall organic matter. The best results were seen with 20-30 g/kg of fertilizer on soils with higher or middle organic matter, and 40 g/kg on low organic matter soil. Cotton yields increased significantly with fertilizer application, showing a correlation between soil organic matter, cotton nutrient absorption, and yield.
