Researchers tested different combinations of resin-coating controlled-release urea and conventional urea on summer corn. The best blend was 70% controlled-release urea and 30% conventional urea, resulting in a yield of 7665 kg/hm2, a 6.5% increase compared to 100% controlled-release urea. This blend also outperformed common compound fertilizer by 19.0% and a contrasting test by 45.6%. Additionally, controlled-release BB fertilizer yielded 6540 kg/hm2, a 1.5% increase over common compound fertilizer.
