Adjusting fertilizer methods can enhance N agronomic efficiency, physiological efficiency, and dependency rate. However, it does not significantly impact nitrogen partial factor productivity and may reduce apparent nitrogen efficiency. Nitrogen absorption peaks at different growth stages, so balancing fertilizer application is crucial for optimal rice production.
