A steel box girder bridge was built using a special technique called multipoint continuous and synchronous incremental launching. This method involved pushing the girder into place over a long distance with a heavy weight. The bridge had a challenging design with a long span and high piers. By using provisional piers, horizontal cables, and a control system, the girder was successfully launched. The process met all construction requirements, including friction, synchronization, geometry, and displacement.
