The study looked at how different factors like when the seeds were planted, how close together they were planted, how much fertilizer was used, and how much water the field got affected the growth and yield of a type of late rice called Jinyou 928. They found that the best combination for growing this rice was to plant the seeds on June 22, have a planting density of 900,000 plants per hectare, use 262.5 kilograms of fertilizer per hectare, and keep the field water depth at 10 centimeters. The most important factors for the growth and yield of late rice were the planting date and the amount of fertilizer used.
