The article shows that BRICS countries have a common feature in their legal systems - they all use codified laws, like Roman law. Even though India's laws are not directly related to Roman law, they are also codified. The author suggests that scholars from BRICS countries should share their experiences with codification and creating unified laws for countries with diverse populations.
