The study looked at how air pollution in the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone would change due to industrial development. They used data on pollution sources and industrial plans to predict air quality in 2015 and 2020. The results showed that pollution levels would increase most in economic development zones and industrial areas, while urban areas would see smaller changes. The rise in air pollution in cities would be linked to local sources and industrial emissions. Overall, pollution levels in urban areas and industrial zones are expected to decrease from 2015 to 2020.
