Climate model predicts hotter summers and increased rainfall in East Asia.
A regional climate model was used to study summer weather in East Asia from 1979 to 2008. The model did a good job simulating the atmosphere and weather patterns, but temperatures were slightly lower than actual. The model also showed weaker subtropical highs and some areas with too much or too little rainfall. Overall, the model was better at predicting temperatures and rainfall in some regions compared to others.
