New wastewater treatment system in pharmaceutical plant achieves impressive pollution removal rates!
A chemical synthesis pharmaceutical plant in northern China uses a process combining hydrolysis and a biological reactor to treat its wastewater. The treated water is then sent to a WWTP for further cleaning. The process effectively removes contaminants like COD, TOC, NH3-N, TN, SO2-4, TP, and acute toxicity by high percentages. However, it doesn't impact the removal of heavy metals. The quality of the treated water meets the standards for discharge into municipal sewers.
