The researchers compared different methods to evaluate the nutrient levels in Fuxian Lake to help manage eutrophication. By combining two evaluation methods, they found that the lake has poor nutrient levels. The proposed nutrient standards for the lake are 1.600 mg/m3 for Chl-a, 0.006 mg/L for TP, 0.173 mg/L for TN, and 7.000 m for SD.
