The Nankong well drilling and coring technology for Songke1 well aimed to efficiently extract core samples from a deep drilling site. By implementing advanced drilling techniques and optimizing the well structure, the researchers were able to achieve a high coring efficiency of 99.73% and complete the drilling process ahead of schedule. This successful project not only contributed to the study of important geological events and climate change but also set a new efficiency standard for scientific exploration and drilling in China.
