Revolutionizing Plant Diversity: Restoring Eroded Lands for a Greener Future
The study looked at how different ways of restoring eroded land affect plant diversity in Ninghua County. They found that plant diversity improved in areas where restoration efforts were made, making plant communities more complex and stable. As time passed, plant diversity increased in areas where trees, shrubs, and grass were mixed, as well as in areas where certain activities were banned. However, in areas where forests were restored, plant diversity varied a lot due to short treatment time and human disturbance. The study suggests that restoring eroded lands should involve a balanced mix of tree, shrub, and grass species, and that different restoration methods should be used at different stages to be effective.
