The study compared different ways of growing early rice seedlings and found that raising them on upland beds was the most effective method, leading to higher yields compared to using plastic trays or water cultivation. Among the methods tested on upland beds, simplified raising seedlings performed the best, followed by seed-coating chemicals, fertilizers, and seedling-strengthening chemicals. The quality of the rice was not significantly affected by the different methods of raising seedlings.
