Low temperatures can harm eggplant seedlings by reducing their ability to absorb and use light for photosynthesis. This study found that as temperatures dropped, key factors like maximum fluorescence and electron transport rate decreased, while factors like thermal dissipation and excess energy increased. The photosynthetic process in the seedlings was damaged, leading to lower efficiency in converting light into energy.
