Sluices were built in Huarong River in 1958, causing slow flow and serious pollution. To fix this, dredging and water diversion were suggested. By simulating water quantity and quality, it was found that diverting 13 m3/s of water can meet residents' needs and keep the river clean. This info can help manage Huarong River better.
