Nitrogen management patterns can affect the yield of early rice variety Liangyou 287. By testing different ratios of nitrogen application, researchers found that the 5:3:2 ratio led to the highest yield and nitrogen use efficiency. This ratio also promoted root growth and nutrient uptake, improved leaf photosynthesis, and ultimately resulted in higher rice yield compared to other ratios tested.
