Different apricot cultivars were used to pollinate 'Luntaibaixing' apricot trees to see how it affected fruit setting and quality. Some cultivars improved fruit setting, while others did not. The quality of the fruit, like weight, shape, and sugar content, was also influenced by the pollinating cultivar. Some cultivars increased vitamin C content, while others increased acidity. Overall, certain cultivars like 'Kabakehuanna' and 'Zaoshuhuanna' were found to be good pollinators for 'Luntaibaixing' apricots. The study shows that choosing the right pollinating tree can improve fruit setting and quality according to specific needs.
