New method using thermal imagers revolutionizes measurement of LED thermal properties.
Researchers studied how different adhesive materials affect the thermal properties of high-power LEDs. They found that the thermal resistance of LEDs can vary based on the thickness and thermal conductivity of the adhesive. By using an infrared thermal imager, they were able to efficiently measure these effects. The test results showed that thermal imagers can be a useful tool for measuring the thermal properties of high-power LEDs.
