The study looked at how different types of nitrogen fertilizer affect the growth and yield of maize. They found that using a coated compound fertilizer (CCF) increased the amount of plant matter and leaf area, leading to higher grain yield compared to normal urea fertilizer. Maize treated with CCF had significantly better harvest results in terms of grain yield, economic benefit, and nitrogen use efficiency.
