Traditional fertilization hinders rice growth, nitrogen manure application crucial for yield.
The study looked at how traditional fertilization affects rice properties and the use of nitrogen manure. They tested different levels of nitrogen fertilization on a rice species called Yangliangyou No.6. They found that as nitrogen levels increased, certain rice properties like seedling growth and earing improved, but fruit rate and weight decreased. The rice output initially increased with nitrogen, but then decreased after a certain point. The use of nitrogen manure also increased with nitrogen doses, but remained low. The study suggests using fertilizers more wisely to prevent nitrogen loss and improve fertilizer efficiency.
