Yellow River Delta Grows by 328.9 km2, Changing Landscape Dramatically
The researchers used satellite images to study how the shoreline of the Yellow River Delta has changed over time. They found that the delta has gone through four stages of development, including forming new land and eroding some areas. Overall, more land was created than lost, with a net gain of about 329 square kilometers. This study helps us understand how the modern Yellow River Delta has evolved over the years.
