Urban rainstorm runoff is a major source of pollution in water bodies. This study analyzed the pollutants in urban runoff and their levels in different environments. Factors affecting runoff water quality were also discussed. The study suggests controlling runoff pollution by managing initial runoff volume, using appropriate control technologies, and integrating urban planning with runoff control.
